北朝鮮がまた「人工衛星を搭載したロケット」を打ち上げるということで、時流に迎合する山之内流選曲士（免許未皆伝）を僭称する私としては、不謹慎との謗りを甘受しつつも、この際「ミサイル・ソング」と「探知ソング」をリストアップしておかないわけにはいきません。
んでもって、私のミサイル・ソングNo.1はズバリこれ！
CBS（米コロムビア）が放ったファビアン型アイドル・ロッカビリアン クラッシュ・クラドック（William “Crash” Craddock, ６０年代以降はBilly “Crash” Craddockの名乗り）の初期の代表曲『ミサイル娘』（Boom Boom Baby）です。
この人はノースカロライナ州グリーンズボロ出身で、１５歳の時にフォー・レベルズというカルテットを結成しローカルスターとなり、CBSの目に留まってメジャーデビューを果したという経歴。『ミサイル娘』はオーストラリアでもヒットし、豪州ロックの起爆剤となったそうですよ。
下はＣＢＳからリリースされた彼のファースト・アルバム。
多くのロカビリー歌手がそうであったように彼もまた６０年代以降、カントリー＆ウェスタンのフィールドに戻っていきました。

チャップリン『独裁者』でもおなじみ、ブラームス『ハンガリー舞曲第５番』を流用してます。
大陸間弾道ミサイル（たいりくかんだんどうミサイル）は普通、Intercontinental Ballistic Missile（ICBM）なので、このタイトルは「大陸のミサイル」という意味にしかなりません。
ミサイル・ソング、まだまだあります。
骨太のロックを歌わせたらこの人の右に出る者はいません。
“男”中島文明、１９９２年のファースト・ソロ・アルバム『Girl Like You』のトップを飾ったのが『恋のミサイル持つ男』。
英語バージョンの『FIGHT』のほか、名バラード『レノンが死んだ日』もこのアルバムでした。
これの後になりますが『泥の川』、『“東口”ゴスペル』など、自身の来し方に由来する作品はやっぱりいいんですよね。
ちなみに私は中島文明にラーメンを奢ってもらったことがあります。その節はごっそさんデシタ！

所ジョージの『探知機おけさ』（１９８１年１０月発売）。名作『まったくやる気がございません』のＢ面曲。
彼女がどこの銭湯に行くか知るためオケに探知機を仕掛けて、あとを尾（つ）いていきたい、という内容で、ストーカー被害とかほとんど認知されてない頃ならではの楽曲でした。
３コーラス目にはまたちょっと別の、いささか問題のある詞があり、今ではオンエアはむずかしいでしょう。
Search には技術的・軍事的なニュアンス、あるいは獲物を捜し求めるような緊張感がありますが、もうちょっとくだけた言い方で looking for, looking in, looking into も探す、見出すという意味で使われます。

The A-side of this 10 inch acetate disc is the unreleased’answer song’ to the Righteous Brothers Moonglow recording, of which they also composed,’Try To Find Another Man’ from April 1964. It was based on the melody of the tune,’You Can Have Her’ first made popular by Roy Hamilton. The Righteous Brothers also recorded a version of’You Can Have Her’ with the same backing track at the same point in time which found single release on Moonglow in April 1965.
Although no production credits can be found, one can speculate that Bill Medley may have had a hand in the recording along with the musicians who accompanied the Righteous Brothers in the studio as well as on stage.
At the time of the recording, both Betty Willis and Bill Medley lived in Santa Ana, California.
Medley had also recorded an unissued duet with Willis entitled,’My Tears Will Go Away’ utilizing the same backing track as on the Righteous Brothers Moonglow version and the version by the Clouds on the Vous label. All were produced by Medley.
In 1966, Betty Willis gave this very acetate disc to producer Steve Benson before he brought her into the studio to record the rare Summit Records release,’That Same Old Smile’.

This is one of eight posted tracks recorded In 1935 by the Richard Himber orchestra that were never issued for consumer purchase but were distributed to radio stations on 33 1/3 Western Electric transcription discs for broadcast use.
As pseudonyms were commonly used on such media by artists who were currently under contract to a commercial record label, Richard Himber and vocalist Stuart Allen were identified on the disc label as “Larry Bradford” and “Stan Abbott.”

万葉集にこんな歌がありましたよ。

人生の一回性を自覚し、その「生」を尊重しようという意識でして、万古不易の価値観でしょう。
これは道徳教育にぜひ用いてほしい一首です。

レポートには「連邦政府のITシステムはますます旧式のものになってきています。もはやサポートが終了したような時代遅れのソフトウェア言語やハードウェアが多く使用されています」「機関によっては、運用しているITシステムの構成要素の一部が、少なくとも50年は前のものになっている」とのことで、アメリカ政府内のシステムで著しい老朽化が読み取れます。

菅義偉官房長官は１７日の記者会見で、鳥取県の海岸で北朝鮮のミサイルの破片と似ている不審な漂着物が発見されたことに関し、「詳細を確認中であり、現段階でその漂着物がミサイルの破片であることかどうかについて、確たることを申し上げることは困難だ」と述べた。
菅氏は日本政府の対応について「あらゆる可能性を排除せず、関係省庁が連携し、情報収集と分析を行っている」と説明した。
一方、政府関係者は同日、漂着物が北朝鮮のミサイルの可能性が高いとの認識を示した。

台湾海軍は１日、南部・高雄の左営軍港で、錦江級哨戒艇が対艦ミサイル「雄風３」（射程約４００キロ）を誤射したと発表した。ミサイルは約７０キロ飛行して台湾海峡の澎湖諸島沖に落下、漁船に当たり船長が死亡、船員３人がけがをした。中台の中間線は越えていない。演習前の装備の点検中で、人為的なミスが原因という。

There was a wild rush to search for a needle in a haystack on a bomb site near St. Paul’s, it was found by Nurse Rhoda Selby of Bart’s and the prize of a sewing machine was handed to her by actress Dorothy Dickson.
Cut story – KS. Women cutting string holding haystack together. Crowds rush & start to search among the haystack, various shots of them being covered with hay etc. Women with needle in hand, almost covered in hay. Sewing machine presented to her, her name Nurse Rhoda Selby.

熊本県警は１０日、交通渋滞などの状況をドライバーに伝える小型交通情報表示板３カ所で、「ミサイル落下情報あり」との誤った情報が表示されたと発表した。担当職員の作業ミスが原因で、県警は「市民に不安を与えかねず反省している。再発防止に努める」とコメントした。
交通規制課によると、誤表示は６～１０日、熊本市内の幹線道路に設置された３カ所で計１６回起きた。これまで混乱や事故などは報告されていない。

こうした中、日本政府が、敵基地攻撃も可能なミサイルを、初めて保有する方針を固め、購入に必要な経費を、２０１８年度予算案に計上することが、ＦＮＮの取材で明らかとなった。
将来的に保有する方針のミサイルの中で注目されるのは、航空機から地上の目標へ発射される、空対地ミサイル「ＪＡＳＳＭ－ＥＲ」。
このミサイルの最大射程は、およそ１,０００ｋｍで、これは新潟から北朝鮮本土まで届く距離。
フジテレビ・能勢伸之解説委員は「こういう長距離の巡航ミサイルを検討するということ自体、本当に北朝鮮をにらんでとしか言いようがない」と話した。
ＪＡＳＳＭ－ＥＲが導入されると、たとえば敵のレーダーが届かない日本海中部から、敵の基地への直接攻撃も可能となる。
日本政府はこれまで、相手から攻撃を受けたときに、最小限度の防衛力を行使することができるという、専守防衛との兼ね合いで、敵基地攻撃能力の保有は控えてきた。
