The Manhattan Transfer – a. Twilight Zone b. Twilight Tone(1980/02/15 stereo 45 single version)
マンハッタン・トランスファー – トワイライト・ゾーン(トワイライト・ゾーン ― トワイライト・ゾーン)
a. Twilight Zone(Composer: Marius Constant)
b. Twilight Tone(Composer: Alan Paul-Jay Graydon)

arranged by Alan Paul & Jay Graydon
produced by Jay Graydon
Pop Chart Peaks: Billboard 30, Cash Box 35, Record World 42 – UK Peak: 25 (BMRB)
With its tribute to Rod Serling’s acclaimed television anthology series “The Twilight Zone” (1959-1964), this dance hit (#4 Disco chart peak) was included in Manhattan Transfer’s 1979 LP “Extensions,” but in a longer version
Note that the promo single (also posted) and earlier pressings of the LP and commercial 45 credited legendary composer Bernard Herrmann as writer of the “Twilight Zone” television theme, an error which was corrected on later pressings of the single. Herrmann’s original first-season theme for the program was quite different from Marius Constant’s immediately recognizable riff which replaced it in season two.
