東海岸に上陸したハリケーンの影響で、竜巻が発生するなど広い地域で被害が広がり、合わせて６人が死亡しました。

「イサイアス」は最大風速３８メートルで３日夜にアメリカ東部に上陸しました。ノースカロライナ州では竜巻が発生し、２人が死亡しました。
ハリケーンはその後、勢力を弱めて北上し、通過したニューヨークでは４日、突風により、木が倒れる被害が相次ぎました。これまでにニューヨーク市だけで約２０００本の倒木の被害が報告され、木の下敷きになった車に乗っていた１人が死亡しました。
