早いもので今年もクリスマスシーズンに突入しました。繁華街のイルミネーションから近所のコンビにまで街中がクリスマス一色になるこの時期。彼氏・彼女のいない人や何の予定もない人にとっては非常につらいもの。事実、ネットでは毎年「クリスマス中止のお知らせ」というパロディ画像がアップされるなど、「クリスマスがなくなってほしい」と願う人は一人や二人ではないはずです。
そこで今回は個人的に「クリスマスをなかったことにする方法」について考えてみたいと思います。

クリスマスが近づくとかならず現れるのが「ひがみ子ちゃん」。
“別にうらやましくなんかないし！”とか言ってるわりにはカップルの言動にきびしい。
ツイッターの裏アカウントで「ちっ！ リア充爆発しちゃえ！」なんて発言しているようでは愛され女子への道も遠ざかる一方。
そもそもクリスマスは恋人たちの行事ではないんだし、まぁまぁ落ち着いて。
男子に痛い目で見られる前に、その思考はこうチェンジ！どうせなら寂しさも生かしていい女になっちゃお。

‘A Working Man’s Prayer’ was written and originally recorded by Ed Bruce on Wand Records in 1964. Pat Boone recorded his version for Dot records in 1966 as did country & western legend, Harold Bradley on the tiny RPR label. This Verve Records version was Mr. Prysock’s only Christmas/Holiday recording, and what a powerful and moving record it is; just dripping with emotion.
